What makes Hotline Tips different?
Life in plastic isn’t always fantastic… so we changed ours. Using an acrylic material that provides a stronger nail and a stronger bond with our adhesive tabs, Hotline Tips are designed with longevity in mind. You should feel great about your nails, and we chose a robust material that allows you to re-wear Hotline Tips so you can nail your perfect look every time.
Are Hotline Tips reusable?
YES!! With our acrylic material and easy-to-use adhesive tabs, Hotline Tips were developed to be worn multiple times!

Reduce, Reuse… we’re working on the Recycle. We really wanted to find a great environmentally friendly option for our nails, but it turns out size and material often makes recycling difficult for a product like press-on nails. In an effort to make the most conscionable decision with the environment in mind, Hotline Tips offers acrylic nails that were selected specifically because your ability to reuse/rewear them reduces how many times you need to buy new nails. Of course, we want you to love every nail we debut, but our goal is to keep your tips in top shape for as long as possible!
Do you use Glue?
No. Glue is messy, in some cases it’s dangerous, and in our research we found that our adhesive tabs typically perform better than the “wet” nail glues many other brands in the press-on space are using. Of course, if you prefer to use nail glue our tips are designed to play well with others, but we love our tabs, and we think you will too.
Why tabs instead of glue?
There are a number of reasons, but the two most important reasons we chose tabs are that they’re easier to use, and they do less damage to the material of our press-on nails. Since less damage has been done to the nail, you should be able to wear Hotline Tips multiple times, and we wanted a product with a longer life than the cheaper materials many of our competitors use.
How long do Hotline Tips last?
It depends. With proper preparation of your natural nail and application of the adhesive tabs and our nails, a single application typically lasts 1-2 weeks. Depending on your level of activity and the frequency with which the nails are fully submerged, that timeline can be longer or shorter.
Can I shower, swim, or perform daily activities with press-on nails?
Yes. Our nails do need to be applied to clean dry nails, and we suggest waiting at least one hour before getting your nails wet to see the best results.
How do I remove Hotline Tips?
Using warm soapy water (mild detergent), soak the nails for 30-60 seconds prior to removal. This will release the bond between the nail and the adhesive tabs, and should provide a pain-free, damage-free, removal of the press-on.
Why do I see two shipping rates?
If you purchased any of our Hotline Merch in addition to our Hotline Tips, there’s a good chance two shipping rates appeared. That’s because we love our merch, but wanted to keep waste to a minimum, so we’ve implemented a print-on-demand strategy to provide some of our favorite pieces without producing too much. And because we’re pumped to see you in our Hotline Tips merchandise, we’re offering limited-time FREE shipping on all merch so you can show the world who your favorite pop-culture press-on brand really is!
Returns & Exchanges
Out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our team and our customers, we are not accepting returns at this time. If you don’t love your Hotline Tips product(s), feel free to contact us at operator@hotlinetips.com and we will do our best to address and accommodate your concerns along with any reasonable requests you may have. Any type of refund or exchange will be at Hotline Tips’ sole discretion, and may be subject to an additional review process. Refunds will be issued for any method of payment charged for purchases made directly through hotlinetips.com, but later canceled by Hotline Tips. Prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated and are subject to change. We may require verification of information prior to the acceptance and/or fulfillment of any purchase. If you have purchased Hotline Tips products through a third-party retailer, authorized partner, or any other unauthorized source, we will be unable to assist in the refund/exchange process, and direct you to contact the customer service team representing the retailer you purchased from.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not at this time. While we hope to bring our Pop-Culture Press-Ons to every place the real fans are, our current products are only available to US customers.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Our small team is working diligently to process orders for shipping within 3-5 days of purchase. Shipping times may vary depending on time of year, as well as processing times for our made-to-order merchandise. (Merchandise orders are processed through a third-party, and shipping times may vary)
